i’m currently in the middle of the drunkard’s walk by leonard mlodinow as part of my programming class at SAIC. it’s a pretty enthralling and engaging way to introduce oneself to probability and the fallacies of human instinct. so much fun and learning! i recommend this for anyone who enjoys books that are both mathematical and somewhat lyrical.
i’m also re-reading georges perec‘s species of spaces for the second or third time. this book is generally assigned by mark booth for his invented worlds class and is a beautiful piece of work by an underrepresented oulipo writer. huzzah!
