the current title of this site is one i wish i could take credit for, but alas, the picture to the left is the originator of the phrase. this design by matt jones is a variation on the old-school british “keep calm and carry on” posters. there are t-shirts, prints, and posters available, but the phrase itself has more value: touted by cory doctorow as an alternative propaganda poster for the econopocalypse, it reminds one to take advantage of the joys of free time, productivity, and creation.
i’m sure some time from now i’ll change the name of this site (probably to something more personal and sophomoric, e.g. my soup), but in the meantime this phrase makes me feel happy and inspired in its simplicity and immediateness. cheers!
